REPORTS TO: Vice President of Human Resources
JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for the evaluation, design, and implementation of compensation programs and projects.  Oversees and administers the performance management process and compensation plans.  Team lead for a variety of other compensation-related programs and research activities such as functional alignment projects.  Maintains position profiles, company wage structures, and participates in wage and benefit surveys.

• Develop and implement HR policies and programs and provide leadership consistent with policy guidelines established, covering several of the following:  employment, orientation, training, labor relations, compensation, Affirmative Action/EEO compliance, organizational development, benefits, employee relations, employee assistance, etc.

• Plan and develop HR policies and programs to provide and maintain an effective organization to enable the Company to achieve its short and long-term goals.

• Anticipate and plan for change in HR areas and act as a catalyst for change in the broader organization.

• Coordinate and implement operational HR objectives for:  staffing/organization structure requirements, training, employee relations, communication, and compliance with all regulatory, legal, and employment law requirements.

• Lead efforts to establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment across the entire Company.

• Lead efforts to develop and implement effective formal communication programs and establish and maintain informal practices.

• Responsible for training programs relating to policies and general development of employees.  Assesses training needs and ensures presented programs address needs effectively.  Develops, writes, and coordinates curriculum and training manuals.  Conducts training or coordinates programs with internal or external experts.  Develops and maintains means of measuring effectiveness of training programs.

• Maintains integrity and confidentiality of department and employee personnel information.

• Represents the Company and HR Department in a diplomatic and professional manner promoting positive employee and public relations.

• Maintains professional employee standards through proper orientation, training, and counseling.

• Perpetuates fair and equitable employee relations by resolving employee concerns or administering discipline according to established HR policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate degree required in human resources, business administration or related field.

• SHRM Certification preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR management, including several years of compensation experience.

• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and have the ability to interface with all levels and departments within the organization.

• Excellent analytical and financial skills are required, along with strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
